Connect and Control Technologies (Revenue of $0.6B; headcount of 2,700; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Support multi-facet Human Resources (HR) functions leading employee relations; as well as benefits, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to make a contribution and to have the full accountability of HR in a growing environment. This position will support ITT Friction North America and KONI North America sites in the U.S.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintains excellent relationships with both direct business partners and peripheral departments
  • Conducts employee investigations to address employee concerns
  • Supports organizational analysis or change, including drafting organizational charts and making recommendations for optimal organization solutions
  • Support individual development plan activities, support and coach the managers on how to work with their employees proactively about performance
  • Maintains and communicates out on key HR metrics and reports
  • Maintain employee data in HRIS System
  • Recommends, coordinates, and tracks applicable training to ensure compliance with TiSAX standards.
  • Support performance functions including annual performance review process, performance improvement plans, etc.
  • Coordinates with ITT Talent Acquisition team for recruitment activities 
  • Proactively makes recommendations to improve HR operations and value added to business operations
  • Additional responsibilities and assignment to be assigned as needed by management

Position Requirements

  • 1-3 years HR professional experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
  • Ability to frequently travel domestically, estimated less than 25% travel
  • Exceptional employee relation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and project prioritization skills required
  • Ability to connect well within a matrix organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, and any relevant HR systems such as Talent Acquisition Software, HRIS, etc.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
